A number of weeks ago I had a problem with my Tag CDT, so I sent it to Kevin Green who after looking at it advice me to send it back to IAG for repair which I did.
So to make a long story short, I must say that the service I received from IAG service dept "Thanks Steve Hughes"::clap:this time was excellent.Received my unit back after four weeks looking all new and working perfectly
    .
I must say the service I received this time was a lot better then the time I purchased this unit direct from IAG two years ago. That time when I received the unit the box was wrapped in a bin liner and had on mains lead inside..

May I ask you what problem you had and how much IAG asked for repair? And do they charge the shippingcosts for the return?

I would like to know what to expect when my CDT turns down...

    Hi Martin,
The problem I had was when I inserted a disc the word error keep appearing.
So they had to replace the CD drive and they also replaced the power on switch and the bulbs in the front display.
The total price including return shipping to the Rep Ireland was £ 218.00

Thanks for the answer, hope you can enjoy many hours of lovely music on your "fresh" CDT!! :smashin:

But why couldn't Kevin Green repair it??
Sounds like a quite regular drive change.

If you look on Kevin's site, I think he's run out of OEM drives or laser mech's.

Actually this one needed the complete laser / loader assembly, and I have no loaders, only lasers. This does not happen too often, but is infuriating when it does happen!
