"Repair Needed" error message

Morning everyone.

I've had this message a couple of times in the last couple of days ...

Repair Needed
iPhone cannot make or recieve calls
www.apple.com/support

This is accompanied by the words "No Service" in the top left.
Each time, I did a reset/recovery and it all seemed to come back ok.

My worry is that something is wrong and it will keep happening. Has anyone else had this issue?

My iPhone is about a month old, official O2 contract, but jailbroken with Ziphone.

I have done a search and looked at the apple site but apart from the advice to reset there isn't anything about it.

Thanks for listening. :)

If you are on an official iphone contract restore it in itunes and take it back to get a replacement.

Actually wait for a few weeks and they might give you an iphone 2 as a replacement :rotfl:

So it is a bit serious then? :(

OK, I'll keep an eye on it during the next few weeks and if it keeps occuring then I'll do as you suggested.

Many thanks for your help!

Hi,

I had that same thing a few weeks ago after downloading dodgy MMS settings & was freaked out for a minute!

Then i did a re-set and it has been 100% fine ever since.
