A few pics taken yesterday at this fantastic FREE event, was also there today but with the family so no photos from today, too busy keeping an eye on my three year old son, there was some great racing to watch with quite a few crashes, highlights had to be the Clio cup race, F1 demonstration and the Megans.

Great pics there Rich.

I took the family on Saturday and what a great day - especially considering the tickets were free! Took just under 300 pics - haven't had a chance to go through them yet. Only thing is it was my first attempt at high speed photography and my panning technique needs a lot of practice. From what I seen of my images, most of the cars have been completely frozen and appear to be static on the tarmac. Thought about going back today to try and improve mytechnique, but the traffic was bad enough yesterday - today they predicted bigger crowd - was that the case?

The F1 demo was the highlight - boy the noise that machine makes is amazing.

I haven't had chance to go through mine yet either. Went to both days. Yesterday was excellent (lads day with some mates) but today we took the family and the car park at the end of the day was ABYSMAL. We went in to set off home around 3:30pm and 4 hours later managed to leave Donnington itself!

5 hours to get home and I live 4 junctions up the M1 from the track. :suicide:

Pity really as the event itself was superb.

Great pictures :smashin:

At least you lot got to see the cars ! I was stuck in the exhibition hall there all day doing the radio rally and being deafened by the noise as they came screaming past :suicide::suicide:

I know which side of the fence I would have rather been on !! :D

One from me.....
Still a long way to go to get to a standard that I'd be happy with.

Thanks for the comments

We managed to miss the worst of traffic yesterday, we left at around 3.30 and it only took us about 30mins to get from Donington to the M42, I'm glad we left when we did.

Some great shots hongkonguk

feel free to post your Renault pics on this thread :smashin:

Great shots.

I had tickets for this event but got called by work en-route to Donnington on Sunday morning so I had to turn back and ended up working from home for most of the day.
