Is it possible in one go to remove ALL the music that shows in the MyMusic section of MCE ?

I have about 150 there and due to some mistakes I dont want over half

Its a bind to remove them 1 by 1

Cant you just go into the folder in XP where they are stored highlight the ones (or edit - select all) and press delete

Well thats what I thought - but in the folder that I have used to "add music" I have about 25 albums give or take

For some reason MCE has also added 100+ albums which are stored on a completley different PC ! although it is network (yet the folder is not shared)

The folder must be shared, may be it is contained in another folder which is shared, but saying that you may not have the rights on the MCE machine to delete anything, so just go to the "server" and delete them their

Have you tried doing a search in XP for one of the albuns to see where it resides?

Just done this and it turns out that a so called friend (who seemed to want to take my mind of the tearing video program) has hidden various folders within other - all found - all deleted and all sorted

    Thanks

Thought I'd add a little tip.

MCE gets its folder and videos from the WMP10 playlist. I find it a lot easier to organise my collection in WMP10 then browse later in MCE. You could have gone to WMP and located/deleted the albums.

Sorry if this has already been covered I've only been using MCE for a week ;).

Another thing, when playing Music/Video in MCE if you launch WMP10 it's playing the same track and you can take control from there. I found I need to do that as MCE doesn't FFWD MPEG4 videos and I wanted to skip to the middle.
