    My last question re-worded:
If I remove my facebook account from my phone, will that just remove the android version? And I will still be able to use the normal version by going to www.facebook.com? I don't use my android version anyway, as it won't work, I just use the other version. So when I get a new phone, I will need to remove the facebook account from my phone before I get rid of the phone, right? Same with the gmail account. If I remove it from my phone, I will still have a gmail account on my laptop, right?

    Simply speaking, yes.

If you delete the FB app on your phone, you will still be able to access the full site () and similarly with the Gmail app.

It says I can only remove the gmail account by resetting the phone to factory defaults, which deletes all your personal data.
What kind of personal data will be deleted?

It'll get rid of all your contacts, emails, sms and settings. Basically, it'll reset it to how the phone was when new.

Thanks. That's something else I need to do before I get rid of my phone anyway, restore to factory settings.
How do you dispose of a mobile phone? If you wish not to give it away or sell it and just want to get rid of it?
