I have some scratches on the plastic screen that covers the panel on my Panny.

Is there some way to remove this by using the same product you use to remove scratches on CDs?

    Not that I know of.
Not very helpful, I know, but wanted to pass on my sympathies, because my CRT was repaired by a (normally brilliant) friend and it got scratched, hence me buying a plasma.

You can purchase a product from Mazda, that removes fine scratches on the glass of convertibles, I know it works as I had to do my mothers car. It comes in a 2 pack product, it does work and takes out really fine and deep scratches without damaging the plastic glass window.

I used to use toothpaste to polish the small scratches out of my visor on the motorbike and it worked very well.... Then again, those visors didn't cost the best part of £2k :D
