Remotes 2020

Can someone say whats new on new remotes on 2020 TVs comparing to 2019 ones? I think new ones have backlight? Anything else different than 2019 ones? Whats the general verdict about em in a experience-everyday usage-sense? Also any idea if it will be possible to use new ones on older TVs (2018-2019)? Or is it still better to buy/use some 3rd party Air Mouse (which one then)?

Fewer option buttons and looks much cheaper. A definite downgrade compared to my 2018 remote.

The ambilight button is backlit when pressed but no others.
