Remote will only turn TV on and off

My QN65Q70RAFXZA Ver: AA03/QRQ70
will turn on and off with Samsung remote. The only thing the remote controls is the power. I can not pull up the home screen or anything else on the TV using the remote. The controls under the center of the TV doesn't work either.
I can watch Xfinity shows using my Xfinity receiver and remote on HDMI3. I can not figure out what is going on and need help.

Is the remote control the one that was supplied with the TV?
Has it been dropped to your knowledge?
Tried new batteries?
Have you tried unplugging/switching off the TV at the power socket for 10-15mins?

Original remote. Bought new one and same problem.
Yes I've unplugged it for 24 hours and tried pair the remote too. Nothing

Remove all devices from it, just a standalone TV.
Still a problem?, needs serviced

ceases, then start plugging in devices one by one & trying the TV again until you find the culprit

Does voice control work with the remote?
Check none of the buttons under the Samsung logo on the TV are stuck as they can lock out the remote.
Other than that as KBD suggests it would need serviced.
