I'm in the process of building my front room for HomeCinema and all my AV equipment is going to be situated behind me. What should I be using for a remote control repeater (wired is ok) so I don't have to fire the remote (Pronto) over my shoulder all the time ?

    cheers.

You can buy a Xantech IR receiver, hardwire that to a Xantech splitter/amplifier and from there use IR emitters to stick in front of the IR receiver 'eyes' on the individual pieces of equipment.

This is what I did with great success and you can buy this stuff from www.letsautomate.com

Or you could consider just the basic One-for-All remote extender @ £39.99
