I have just purchased a new PC and I want to connect it to my current broadband network.

I have a 4 port speedtouch ADSL modem which is located at my old computer which I intend to keep and use. The modem has cables which are run into my main living area and connect to both my Netgem BT freeview adaptor and my Xbox for live.

I have the new PC in a totally separate room and it is located next to a telephone socket. The new PC is for games and family use to surf the net. I purchased another ADSL modem from the classified ads on here but I have found that I cannot have two modems connected at the same time.

If I want to use the new PC I have to go and switch off the other modem and vice versa.

Is there a wireless network way I could use without having to swap out all of my existing gear? Is there a unit that will connect into my existing 4 port and connect wirelessly just to my new PC.

    thanks for any help

    Darren

Buy a wireless access point and wireless card for your PC @ 802.11g,the access point will plug directly into your 4port hub/modem
    Something like this

buy the matching card for your PC.
Alternatively you could change to an all in one solution here.

Try the usual suspects Komplett,Ebuyer and I know Novatech were doing an all in one deal on the Linksys kit cos I bought one !
