I have a usb ir reciever and I want to use my harmony to drive MCE (saves me buying a mce remote). The iR reciever is recognised by windows. But how do I set it up in MCE I can see no options in the NMCE settings tabs. Do I need to install additional software for within MCE to drive the remote or does it come as standard.
    Thanks in advance.

You'll need to set the harmony up from the online set up on the harmony site. Software should have come with the remote.

Once on there you should find an option for a media centre pc. Any problems just post in the remotes forum as there are plenty of harmony users who will be able to help you.

If you are going to control an external Set Top Box e.g. Sky digibox then you will need the pukka MCE IR remote receiver as it has the sockets for the IR bugs that will change channels on the STB.
