Will I be able to run both a cordless keyboard/mouse and the nebula remote control, or do I risk interference?

Should be fine, it would depend on the particular mouse/keyboard but I doubt there'd be a problem - they should use different IR codes. If there was then using a radio frequency keyboard/mouse would eliminate it. You can get these from Ebuyer for £15.
