    Hmmm, it'd sort of work, however, every time you use any RC in the room for more than 2 seconds (e.g. volume control?) you'd activate the screen.

    Also, consider that you almost certainly want an "Up" and a "Down" - the circuit is a single channel and would have to be adapted.

    Out of interest how does the screen work at the moment?, press-and-hold one of two keys to raise / lower the screen?, I'll look around for an equivalent device to help if that's the case.

    What you need is something similar to this:-

    Item HTX002/HRX002TP

    (although you'd need to confirm that the relay contacts will switch the same voltage / current that the switches on the screen are rated at)

    Then, all you'd need to do is wire each of the normally-open relay contacts in parallel with the screen's switches (i.e. one relay contact across the "up" switch, and one across the "down" switch").
