Im in the market for a remote control, but am lost in the vast market of "all in one remotes"

Im fed up of having lots or remotes so wish to just have one hence the topic

I have a samsung UE32D500 LED tv, a samsung blu ray player, sky+ HD box and a Yamaha RX-V367 AV receiver.

I like the logitech range as they look nice, and match my glossy black collection of toys.

Would a cheap 300i work? or would i be best going for something higher up the range like a 700?

Any other suggestions are appreciated. Price isnt a factor as long as it does as i wish :D

A 300i should work fine, but if you want to add another piece of equipment, you're stuffed, as 4 is it's limit.

Just something to bear in mind :)

I don't want to sow discord in the Mustelidae family but the 300 is a Harmony in name only.
It doesn't do the activities that are the whole point of all the others, and it uses a small limited database.
So "Would a cheap 300i work?" - yes, but only like a common or garden one-device-at-a-time remote.
And "or would i be best going for something higher up the range" - yes, and preferably as high as the One.

Good decision - shop around for a sensible price, and wait a while if necessary.

Most major stockists have them for about £125, but a quick ebay/amazon search turned them up for around £85, which is an even better price :p

Ooh, 'ark at her with the posh words :p

I had to look that one up :)

Seriously though, cheers, I'm informed re the 300

    I'll give you that - 85 IS a better price than 125.:)
That's OK about the 300 and the same applies to the 200 only more so.
