Hi,
Is there any device available to remotely control the bass on a subwoofer? My sub (Castle Cube) is connected to my Cambridge Audio CXR 120 via RCA/Phono cables. Is there any device out there which you can plug in between the receiver and the sub that allows you to do this? It would be nice to be able to change the bass volume, depending on what is playing; music, movie etc, instead of changing it manually? Not wanting to spend loads of money though

Not unless the subwoofer's manufacturer has integrated such a feature into the sub. If your sub didn't come with this ability then no, you cannot add it via a third part intermediary device.

Anyway, you'd not really need to adjust the sub post calibration and if you did want to adjust the level then it is easilly done via the AV receiver's subwoofer level or the sub trim level many AV receivers include.

If wanting the ability to setup and or directly adjust a sub using an IR or IP control then you'd need to buy a sub that includes this ability.

Why not simply increase or decrease the sub's level via the AV receiver if that is all you are wanting to do? Note that the sub will not l be correctly calibrated relative to your other speakers if you change its level post calibration though.
