Remote Control Codes

I'm trying to get the Pioneer remote from my LX508D to control some of my other equipment, but with little success. Has anyone tried / had any success, with the following;
Sony PS3
Sony RDR870
Pace Twin PVR

I can get the Pace to turn on and off but that's all, using code 005 under the Set Top Box option.

As far as I'm aware, the PS3 uses Bluetooth not IR, although it is possible to buy an add on IR receiver.
