    As the R1 release is Pan & Scam, I'm trying to track down the japanese release which is allegedly widescreen (according to DVD comparison).

    Anyone know a retailer that can supply this?

    It seens that like The Evil Dead, Remo was shot in 4:3 and the widescreen version is just trimmed 4:3 - So you might be better going for the R1 version

    Received my copy today. After checking on the BBFC website, it appears that the UK version had always been cut by 35 seconds.

    Finally get to see an uncut version :D
