Just a quick reminder that Ferris Bueller's Day Off is on Movies HD1 today so get it in your planner. Not sure if this has been on in HD before but a cracking film and hopefully a cracking HD transfer!

    Go on Ferris!

    transfer
    compression
    artifacts
    ghosting

I recorded it and it took up 10% - which was more than I was expecting.

Just finished watching this......took me back to my school days when I first saw the film.....

Must admit for a 21 year old film the HD transfer was pretty damn good :)

watched the whole film on HD1, and it looked superb - no ghosting, compression blocks, dot crawl etc. Now if only Sky can sort out the poor quality on HD2 then i might be happy.

Yep, all looked pretty good on my projector.

Is it Edward Norton there also as Matthew Broderick's friend?

Nope the actor who played Cameron Fry (Bueller's best mate) is called Alan Ruck. He does look similar to Edward Norton, you're right but it's not him. You may remember Alan Ruck from another film - he was on the bus in Speed playing the tourist fella. :smashin:
