So if you could have one film in your DVD collection remastered what film would it be?

Mine would be 'Event Horizon'. The transfer cuold have been sooo much better and the cgi could do with a few touch ups here and there now.

Bullitt and Blazing Saddles could do with new transfers - video encoding has come along way in the last 6 years.

Mine would be David Lynch's DUNE. Keep the Story, Acting and the Score but the special effects are soooo 80's. The hole lot needs scraping and some awesome CGI bringing in. Then bring in the legendary 5 hour edit, clean up the print, transfer to DVD and make all my Christmases come at once. :D

Is it too much to ask? Is it?

OK I wont hold my breath. :(

I would like to see the Wild Bunch rid of that flipper and Goodfellas whilst i am on the subject.

Dune is a great idea especially a five hour David Lynch version, on that subject i would like to see the Richard Donner Superman 2 even though i do like the Richard Lester version.

Transformers The Movie - in widescreen with DTS soundtrack & a sharp, clean transfer.

Look like the widescreen part may actaully happen.

Tim Buton's Batman Films, Abyss anamorphic. Then they really have to sort out the rights for Bladrunner.

Where did you get that info from?
Id love a widescreen version of the first film I ever saw at the cinema!

Oh, and a remastered version of the Never Ending Story would be good.

Metrodome, who are now releasing the Transformers DVD's, are searching for a widescreen print of the movie. They've tried Delux (where most theatrical prints can be found) and there was one there but it's now gone. They've tried Carlton who owned Rank Films, the theatrical destributor of TFTM. The print has been binned by Carlton. The are now trying the US, where hopefully philosophy of binning priceless treasures doesn't exist.

If you go to www.transformersdvd.com there is some news.
