REL Strata MK1 V BK Gemini MK2

Hi All,

I think I know the answer.....but here goes.
I have the Strata MK1 connected up for music only via the high level connections and have used XTZ software to tune it and I'm pretty happy with it.

So.....given the differences in the subs and the improvements made over the years will the Gemini be a big enough upgrade to justify the cost.

It will be used for stereo 90% of the time and connected up high level for music and low for films and I'm looking for clean bass.

Just looking for your thoughts and experiences :)

Cheers

Paul

I reckon the Strata will be fine, I used to have the Storm MK1 and it was a very capable bit of equipment - no doubt the Strata was also very good.

If I recall the Strata is a ported design with a 10inch driver? Or was it an 8?

The Gemini is a sealed box so might sound different, but perhaps not better.

I get my Gemini on Christmas day so might be able to help a bit more then!
