One more month and I'll be getting in a Rel q50. I've waited for ages for this thing, so I'm really keen to get my hands on it.
Does anyone have some do's and don'ts on this machine ? will it be sufficient ? I'm using tannoy mx3's as fronts, in a 5.5m*3.5m room.
    Thanks,

    Koen

This was my first sub (I still have it) It's fussy where it's sited. Don't run cable 'till you're happy with the effect, & only after a coupla days! After experimenting for the best sound, I installed a new main socket for it, ran cable under the carpet etc. Only to find that the sub bass effect had 'disapeared'!
Also, it seems to perform best firing at the wall, not into the room. Into a corner is even better. [IMG]

I have to agree with the above that the Q50 is better firing into a corner and it sounds great.
