Rel Q150E and Pioneer 2023 (Class D)

Novice Member
I have owned an Rel Q150E for some 13 years and all has been fine. About 18 months ago I purchased a Pioneer SC2023 and they have worked well as a combination until recently.
The sub has started to 'crackle' intermittently, even with the amp in stand by.

I notice on the Rel website that there is the potential for a grounding issue with a class D amp.
Is anybody able to throw any light on this as I do not quite fully understand it and more importantly how to rectify it.

Many Thanks
