I've heard some people saying that the 100 is actually a better sub than the 150, i know its bigger with a bigger cone which presumably equates to more rumble, and its not like i need to save space. However the 150 obviously has more power and presumably better build quality but is it worth the extra money?

    No.

When REL "improved" the Q range they went backwards. Get either a second hand Q100 or something else

Why not save some money and at the same time get a better Sub than the Rel 150. I used to have a Rel150 then a Strata III, but now I have a Velodyne CHT-10 from Uncle Eric in the Power Buys.

    Far better than the RELs.:smashin:

For whats it worth I have a Rel Q100 and I am really happy with it. I bought it on these very forums to replace my PS-1000 and I haven't looked back! Next up it's some Gallo Micros...........

Just how much better do you think the Q100 is over the PS1000? I currently have a PS1000 but am thinking of going for the Velodyne CHT-10.

I would describe the Q100 as smoother, the bass is crisper and far less destorted when pushed. The PS-1000 is loud and in your face but the low frequencies are more raw and uncontrolled. I hope my description makes sense, if you haven't already guessed, I am not too technical :D
