I bought a copy of "The Italian Job" in the sales for £8.99 and it's already been reissued in a Amray case rather than the original digipack that was on the shelf a few months ago.

MGM have done the same for "Silence Of The Lambs" & "Terminator". As have Fox with "Independence Day".

Proves there is a god after all :D

If only I could learn to wait:rolleyes:
I've lost count of the number of times I've bought a disc in a crappy cardboard digipack, only to find it a couple of weeks later re-issued in a lovely hardwearing Amaray case.
    And usually cheaper:(

I love digipaks myself :) I get really upset when I miss the boat with them and still end up paying the same amount for a crappy Amaray case :(

A decent digipack's fine, something sturdy like the R1 FOTR 4 disc set, or the R1 fight Club, but the R2 Predator digipack was really crap. It's just not build to last. The R1 Unbreakable was the same with the added downer of having discs that are virtually impossible to get out of their plastic tray thing.

Digipacks - thick sturdy card or not at all. Thankyou very much.

Ain't that the truth! :( I believe I started a thread about it I was so annoyed :D

But having said that, the Amaray case for Red Dwarf is driving me nuts at the moment. That's another one that's hard to get the disks out from (though nothing compared to Unbreakable).

Agreed :) Jackie Brown and Pulp Fiction R1 SEs spring to mind on the flimsiness front
