As most people have done i upgraded Snow Leopard to Lion via the downloaded software from the App Store.

I would like to do a 'clean' installation of Lion on my MacBook Pro and was wondering how i obtain a copy of the media. Any ideas?

I did this- it made a big difference.

Two options:

1) follow instructions like these- http://mashable.com/2011/07/20/lion-clean-install-guide. - this worked fine for me, just make sure you verify the CD you burn off, and i think these still work after you have upgraded (which is how i did it)

2) buy the physical media- i think you can now get a usb stick with lion from apple

However, since you have already bought it option 1 should work out fine!

Try this:

'You can redownload the Lion install if you goto your purchased items, click the lion link and hold the option key and then click on the install button. Courtesy of dblbdrum at http://*******/o201Xo ,
