Are they cut like Region 2?
What is the sound/picture quality like compared to Region 1&2
Are the extras the same as Region 1&2?

PS Has anyone seen the R4 Predator 2 disk? Is it worth getting, or should I wait for the R1 version and hope it isn't RCE?

    Cheers!!

Region 4 are just as good or bad as any other regions. Check out this region 4 website and read the specs of the films your after.

Often they can be very good and due to the current exchange rate, well priced. In the case of Hannibal, they were the first region to release the product. Note that they are often PAL discs.

As for Predator, why not buy a french copy. It is uncut, in english and is still region 2.

I have been recommended the following website for a R1:R4 comparision.
Content of the disc in terms of picture quality, cuts, languages and extras can/will differ.

I just received "The Terminator SE" (R4 2-Disc Set) from EzyDVD and it has the "I cut my eyeball" scene while it's rated at M15.
