    Hi,

There's no technical reason why a region free dvd should be any worse than one that does have a regional code.

Quality issues will more than likely be linked to the resources available to the company that has produced the disks. If the films are very obscure releases from a little known company, then there's a chance the quality could be a bit rough, but if the studio concerned has a reputation for good quality releases then the dvd's should be fine, regardless of regional coding.
