Region 4

    Ok, i know i should know this... but.. do region 4 discs work on region 2 DVD players as standard. ??

    Only if you can change the region to 4.
    They are PAL though, so no need for an NTSC enabled DVD player or TV.

    In theory they shouldn't but in practice many of them do

    Some UK releases are both R2 & R4. Again, some Australian discs are both R2 & R4.

    If a disc is only R4, then it will not play, unless your machine is multi-region.

    One good point about R4 is that it is PAL, so there are no signal compatibility issues.
