Im after getting Lost series one, but would prefer the region 1 copy as it has the complete season on for only a few quid more. Question is will this work on my panasonic DMR-ES10 without me doing anything to it beforehand, dont want to order this if it wont work.

Sorry for the basic question, but still confused on the different regions and what I can play on mine, so if anyone could answer this for me I would be much appreciated.

Many thanks...Rich :)

Unless you bought it as multi-region (from somewhere like Richer Sounds), you will not be able to play non-Region 2 discs. The only way to have the Panny changed to multi-region is to have its firmware upgraded by a specialist. There is no remote hack currently known.

Did you see the report in today's papers that Channel 4 / E4 only show a reduced section of each 65 minute episode. They reckon that 24 mins of each episode are not shown due to commercials, end titles , trailers and cut endings. No wonder I had begun to think what is the point of this series.
