i've expecting delivery of a new samsung 42 inch panel tomorrow.

Question: do R1 dvd's need an NTSC display?

i'll be playing them through a Pioneer 575A Multi region player via componant progressive scan.

Please chaps i need a response asap.

    cheers

Progressive can carry a true NTSC signal and assuming that your plasma can display it, which I am 99.9% sure it will, in my opinion you will be fine with this. I do not envisage any problems.
