    I'm going loopy here.

I've just received Angel season 1 on region 1 for $14.99 from Amazon. Bargain I thought, until I go to play it on my HTPC.

Almost all of my DVDs are region 2 and I normally use 960x540/25hz via VGA-->SCART which looks fantastic. I'm getting horrendous jumping every couple of seconds playing Region 1 with these settings. Now I understand it's to do with the refresh rate so I created an 848x480 res at 30Hz. I'm using DVDAutoRefresh to swap the Powerstrip display profile when it detects a region1/2 disc etc. That bit is working great. Thing is, even when it's at 848x480:30Hz it's still juddering around like mad!!! it's driving me crazy :( Reclock doesn't help and tells me to switch to a res that is a multiple of 25Hz!!!!! what the fudge?
