Howdy folks.
I was thinking.
In stead of using a dedicated center speaker or a third tower why not get a pair of bookshelf speakers that match your L and R and connect that pair to the center channel as one speaker?
In my youth when we wanted more sound we would just double up on speakers so two would be connected to the left and two would connected to the right.
Now this was done with a little to no understanding of wattage or ohm.
But I can't remember any incident of a blown receiver or broken speakers.
Has anyone tried this?
