while i would agree the sound quality on master and commander was excellent apart from certain scenes where the dialogue was hard to understand, i felt the pq left a little to be desired i have the collectors edition which i watched in dts what are your thoughts on this

Not watched all of it (waiting for neighbours to go on holiday) but what I have seen seemed fine to me.

Certainly agree & far from what I expect from a new film..

Feared it would not be that great after reading the R2 review.

Not the worst ever but for a new high profile film it is dissapointing.

Yeah, but they seemingly don't need a reference to start with and just score as they feel:rolleyes: :rotfl: Sorry couldn't resist.

I agree. The picture has artefacts all over the place. Every scene with sky, fog or smoke looks terrible.

The Audio is it's only redeeming feature. Picture quality is a bit naff and the film itself is................:censored:
