I dont want to bore you all with the story but basically johnlewis is refunding me for my 8 month old faulty 50 " VT30.

And as they dont do the VT30 anymore they are either giving me a refund or put it towards another model. I am thinking maybe LED now as i have had alot of issues with 2 plasma panny displays so far.

I want a 50-55" and have a budget of about £1500 i see there are lots of new models comming out for 2013 but it might be too late by the time they are released.

I do alot of gaming and movie watching (3D & 2D) also needs to have some sort of DNLA (althought pretty much everything does now).

    Any suggestions would be welcome.

I think there is the DT50 LED which is a premium model. Prices would be lower now that its in its way out and the --60 series come in.

The E6500 Scooby suggests is a plasma, the 55ES8000 is an LED-LCD

Yes they've got the description wrong the fools. I prefer gaming on plasma myself.
