    Hi,

I'm considering buying a projector (perhaps an HS20) and will want to run via DVI.

I've been trawling around old threads, and am getting the impression that operation of many projectors via DVI tends to fix the refresh rate.

If you have experience of using DVI, what I'd like to know is:

    1. Does this have a visible effect on playback? Do frames get dropped now and again?

    2. If there are problems, can they be fixed by using specific software?

    3. Are there other issues when playing Region 1 DVDs? (I'm off to the US at some point over the summer and might decide to increase my DVD collection :) )

    Thanks for any advice.

    Ivan.
