I love water drop shots and refraction shots too-
This one made my first ever explore -
Very nice shots. I think number 2 is my favourite, but it is a close call.
Thank you John
All three are well set up and have come out very nicely indeed. Love the backdrop to #1 and the way it's come out in the bokeh.
Do you use a high frame rate or just excellent timing?
Excellent shots, what lens did you use ?
Thanks denno, Persistance and many many shots, I wouldn't like to think how many shutter uses my camera has already
They are crops from my kit lens 14-42 mm, I haven't taken any drop shots since I got my macro lens but I think that could be todays mission
that second one is wicked. well there all wicked but the second one really caught my eye.
Number 3 for me.
Love the way the flower is refracted in the drop.
Love number three. There's a flower is every drop!
Ok so mission to use my macro lens for more refraction shots...I would NOT recommend this at all I had to take millions of shots to get some in focus because macro margins are so tight. Maybe it would have been better if I hadn't wanted in really close
I don't really think it was worth it
Yes it was, excellent shot
Being a determined soul I kept at it and took some more...it did get easier.
I think I will start a 'name that album' refraction shot thread
#3 is easy I think, it's also my favourite (both the music and the photo)
Superb agan, especially "the bells" !
Wow I really like these, something I have never tried.
Some very clever work here, and shot no.3 (with the flower) is very beautiful to boot .
Tooo cool. Love the album idea - must have a go.
Some ace picture here. I really like the first two.
Only Bill made a correct guess on the albums, I think that means I owe him a virtual drink
No cigar this time sorry, although I just checked out the Muse album cover and can see why you thought that. Think a bit more hot and spicy.
I was going to start a new thread fo some of my latest photos but I guessed it was better to just add them on here-
And now for something a bit different, it is a refraction shot but a stationary one (and the refractions themselves are rubbish) but it does have some rather nice bokeh.
I do love my new macro lens
Love the Leaf (i think its a leaf), nailed
I really like #2. Interesting stuff - different to the usual refraction shots we see all the time.
Nice to see you putting the macro lens to good use!
Thanks guys, I do love the macro lens, it's great for portraits too.
some amazing shots here tracy. love them!
Nicely done ...really like the third one
