reference again

    I have a pioneer vsx-510 and the VOL goes to -99 up to -10 .
    i play dvds at -45 or -40 .so how do i work out the reference level on that scale on my amp.
    please help.

    Read the reference thread again, you need an SPL meter plus a test tones disc (or you could use the internal test tones on your amp).
