I could use a bit of help, last couple of days my PC has started to randomly turn off. It did it twice yesterday and just this afternoon, not doing anything strenuous it just powers off then starts back up as if nothing happened. Ive updated windows (windows 8) and done all my motherboard and bios updates and it still did it today.
Event viewer shows a critical error 41
The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.
At this point, Im pretty sure the PSU is the issue so I need to get it replaced as soon as I can. Only problem is I dont know whats gonna be any good now? Ive been looking at a corsair 500w psu and an ocz version of the same wattage but I just dont know if it'll be sufficient.
Im running the below specs, theres a 1tb hard drive and 2 monitors running also if that makes a difference.
600W Alpine Gold Edition PSU
2GB XFX 7070
MSI B75IA-E33 (M-ITX Board)
8GB Corsair Dominator
i5 3570 CPU
