I "think" i need a new ball head for my RS 284 tripod.
I already have the RSH-12, and while its a nice head i find i get a bit of movement, or drop when i let go of the camera, once its all tightened up.
I know using live view with a x10 magnification isnt helpingl but thats how i'd like to use it.
It doesn't seem to be faulty, just a bit annoying. Ive been looking at the Manfrotto 494RC2 and this seems comparable and going by the blurb it might be a bit more reliable but any comments from those who have used both are very welcome.
I feel that as i dont use a tripod much i would prefer to keep the cost of a new head under £100. The RS one is still very usable so i dont really need to replace it, just that i would like to if it doesn't cost me much.
Cheers.
