    Hi guys...

I have a Ixus 500...which unfortunatley exibits red eye with every flash photo i take! i guess the main reason being that the flash is so close to the lens and the subject ends up look straight at the flash. I tried the red eye reduction mode but it seems to have made no difference. Anyone else have the same problem?? and how how can i take simple steps to reduce it? or does it mean i have to always use PhotoShop or Paintshop to get rid of it?

    Thanxs ppl. :smashin:

I get the same redeye on most of the photos taken with the Ixus 500. I think that if you can try and take the photo at a slight angle rather than the people staring straight down the camera lens, that might help a little.
