Hi, I want to record games footage from Xbox, Playstation and GameCube so that I can capture frames on my Apple Mac and use them as still images. What would be the best quality way of doing this?

I can think of two options, one is to buy a video capture card for the mac and the other is to buy a DVD Recorder, burn gameplay to disk (or Hard drive) and pop the disk in the Mac. I have a Pioneer DVD-RW drive in the Mac. All my games consoles output RGB signals via RGB scart cables.

I'm not at all au fait with DVD Recorders so I don't know how the two approaches compare? Cheers.
