    Can I record onto DV tape using a DV camcorder?

    Only if your camera has video inputs. Mine (JVC GVL150) doesn't. I had a use for it recently, but couldn't do it. I wanted to load a video onto my PC without having to move the VCR.

    I'm pretty sure some cameras can do this.

    Aye, mine has analogue in. It's very useful. The cheapest cam I know with analogue input is the MV400i (canon) at http://www.krishav.co.uk for £550 I think.
