Hi Forums

My niece entered this world on Christmas day and a few months along the line she has developed a liking for some Disney shows. Unfortunately these aren't broadcast 24/7, so I would like to record them and be able to play them.

But, with all of the following, I wanted to see if I could achieve what I want to do without having to buy a DVD Recorder/TV Capture card... I'd really appreciate some help.

What I have at my disposal:

PC With Windows 7 and Windows Media Centre
Sky+ HD
Slingbox
Slingcatcher

Would it be possible to record live TV streaming from Slingcatcher (On a LAN, so quality will be acceptable) in Windows Media Player/media centre and then burn that to DVD?

Thanks for reading, and thanks in advance for responses.

bump.... anyone?

Wrong forum I think, this is network media players and your looking into something that is HTPC territory.

There's an unofficial recorder for sling platforms called At Large Recorder you might want to look into that.

THanks Next010, I'll have a look at that. It seems to do what I need it to. One question, is it possible to burn the recorded files to DVD?
