recording rgb to hdd

    forgive me if this question has been asked before
    i want to record from a pace digibox to recorder(panasonice85) using rgb scart i have read that with sky+ boxs only output composite on scart. i was wondering if the same was true from an ordinary digibox. thanks :clap:

    All digiboxes output RGB from the "Tv" scart and composite from the "Vcr" scart.

    I would be very suprised if the sky box didn't output SCART RGB as this is one of the most common forms of connection to a TV.

    does this mean i could connect the digibox tv out scart to the recorder and then out via component to tv. :hiya:

    Yes, connect the Sky Tv scart (with RGB enabled in the "picture settings" menu) to the E85 AV2 (also set to input RGB) and away you go. :clap:

    Yes that's correct, just check you're using the TV scart (not the VCR one), different boxes have them different ways round.

    The downside of using the TV scart is that the Ext link won't work !
