Is it possible to record one source on the Panasonic DMR-ES20 and watch another? It's just that I have my Sky+ box going in to Scart 2 (on the back of the Panny), but if I want to record from freeview I am unable to switch back to view that input.

You can watch something already recorded on the HD, but that's all.

You could use a scart switchbox to route you sky+ to the TV.

Good idea, but I've only got 1 RGB enabled input on the TV, which the DVD Recorder is going into.
