    Hello guys;
    Recently bought the Panasonic DMR E20 DVD recorder; absolutley love it. I've been converting my VHS tape collection on to DVD-R but have got stuck with NTSC tapes:
    The VCR is a new one and handles NTSC no problem; playback on to the Philips widescreen is perfect.
    However, the DVD recorder seems unable to handle the NTSC tapes:
    Leaving the AV Inputs system to PAL gives perfect colour but messy lines at the bottom of the picture; changing the AV Input system to NTSC gives a perfect picture but black and white with occasional bits of colour.
    Any offers of advice?
    (VCR is connected through a scart)

    Cheers,
