Just wondering but if I put the Sky+ box into standby mode at night, will it still record any programs which I've got set in the planner?

..and there's not much difference in power consumption whether it's 'On' or in 'Standby' - only the light on the front changes colour:rolleyes:

If you speak to sky tech they will reccomend that you leave the box in standby during the night to prolong the life of the HDD, especially if you have instant rewind switched on.
