I am experiencing problems trying to record a satellite prog. on Panasonic DMR-E75V recorder. In the manual it says "first set up programmes using Video Plus." I have done this, however, at the set time for the particular prog. It only records what is on the TV screen at that time. Have I got it wrong? Is the recorder only supposed to do this?
There is no problem recording two programmes simultaneously on VHS and DVD.
    Anyone able to help
    Thanks

I can only think that when you set up the video plus code it is automatically trying to record a terrestrial station, as it would. You can still use videoplus for satellite but you need to make sure you change to the relevant input or extension for what the satellite is plugged into ie AV1, AV2, unless you do this already when I will have to pass on your question :)
    Regards

Video plus is really a waste of time for recording from sattelite and very unreliable on analogue in my experience.
