Basically I want to be able to record from my cable box to my DVD recorder using RGB.
As far as I am aware the telewest box only sends RGB through the first scart output and not the second. Which is fine.
I have connected this from scart one to the input on the DVD recorder all fine so far.
The problem is when ever I turn the cable box on the DVD player automatically turns on and will start recording if a disc is in the tray.

How can I turn this auto recording thing off?

    Is it possible?
I also get this if I connect my DVD player from it's RGB Scart Out to the RGB scart input on my DVD Recorder.

    HELP!!!
