"Recording Failure, Reason Unknown"

Why did "Star Trek: Enterprise" of Sky One at 8-9pm on Monday 9 February 2004 give this error message?

Hard disc had 61% free, Sky+ v2 digibox wasn't even turned on; let alone recording two programmes at once or anything like that.

Very annoying.

What's the best way to complain to Sky about buggy software?

Should have got yourself something with decent software to start with. Hmmm, let me think... TiVo springs immediately to mind :D :rotfl:  :smoke:

Lights the blue touch paper and retreats to a safe distance...

Just joshing.

How much trouble were you in for having Sky switched off when Tivo wanted to record? ;)

Yes, even though it wasn't you that turned it off!

As always, on the defensive, I was only joshing.

Easily resolved if can be @ssed to change the settings.

Software:
TiVo 'like' WindowsXP
Sky+ 'like' Windows 3.1 (and I'm being kind)

Bring it on :D :rotfl: :) :zonked: :smoke:
